MediaMath Ad Operations Analyst in Madrid, Spain

The Ad Operations Analyst will assist in core ad technology and operations processes. This individual will play a critical role in supporting several functions relating to campaign setup, management, troubleshooting, and support and will have the opportunity to learn from the ground up about the essentials of programmatic buying and campaign management. This person should exhibit strong attention to detail, be able to multi-task, be interested in learning ad tech from the ground up, have excellent communication skills, and enjoy working in teams.

  • Support the ongoing setup and maintenance of online advertising campaigns - including but not limited to:

  • Pixel and segment creation & QA

  • Creative trafficking & QA

  • 3rd party tag and tracker setup & QA

  • Campaign launch & management

  • Campaign setup QA & troubleshooting

  • Ad hoc querying of relevant databases

  • Become a subject matter expert on the TerminalOne Marketing Operating System, Upcast Social Ad Management Tool, and other online advertising platforms, reinforcing best practices for campaign setup, troubleshooting, and issue resolution

  • Participate in the development of processes and mechanisms to proactively QA and monitor campaigns to minimize campaign outages, discrepancies, and other issues

  • Work with internal teams to identify and develop solutions that automate and improve internal and client ad ops and trafficking operations

This is not an exhaustive list of responsibilities. As part of our global technology team, you may be required to be work off-hours or be on-call on a rotating basis. Other duties may be assigned, as needed. MediaMath retains the right to change job duties at any time.

  • Bachelor’s Degree - quantitative studies preferred (e.g., math, physical sciences, computer science, economics, statistics, etc.).

  • Fluent in Spanish

  • Minimum 1-3 years of hands on experience with online advertising technology and systems (TerminalOne, DoubleClick, Atlas, FBM, MediaMind (Sizmek), Flashtalking, etc.)

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience managing complexities such as online advertising campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, and resolution

  • Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Understanding of RTB, DSP, DMP, and dynamic ad serving fundamentals

  • Experience with web debugging tools (Firebug, HTTPFox, Fiddler, Chrome Dev Console, etc.)

  • Understanding of client-side web technologies (JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS)

  • Personable, solutions oriented, creative thinker

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, fun, and entrepreneurial environment

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong attention to detail and extremely well-organized

  • Able to deliver against multiple simultaneous tasks with excellence
