Position Summary

Software Developer Engineer

At Ericsson you will have multiple opportunities to solve real-world, complex technical problems as you join us on our journey.

We are looking for brilliant software developers with passion for building new functionalities related with 5G mobile data processing.

You will be developing software in the area of IP/data communications for real-time and high-availability systems.

We are creating innovative solutions to empower network operators to provide data connectivity anytime anywhere with superior performance and Quality of Experience.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor’s, master’s, or doctorate degree in computer science, telecommunication engineering or related field

We value skills/experience in

  • C/C++ programming on Linux/Unix
  • Scripting languages: Shell, Perl, Python or similar
  • TCP/IP Networking and protocols, data networks and IP-based applications.
  • RFCs and Telecommunication standards
  • Software Configuration Management tools (git or equivalent)
  • Unix/Linux tool chain: compilers, debuggers, profilers.
  • Investigation and debugging of complex software issues
  • Open source projects
  • Software development in related industries and university projects

  • Willing to share knowledge
