Axway is currently seeking a Presales Consultant who is specialized in B2B/MFT/API and who will be based in our Madrid office in Spain .

Solution design, configuration and documentation to be proposed

Offer preparation

Offer technical presentation.

  • To learn the competitive positioning of Axway technologies in front of the competitors, to leverage the Axway differentiators during the sales cycle

• To visit prospects and customers of Axway, to evaluate the opportunities, understand requirements and prepare presentations.

  • To identify cleverly the business opportunities emerged during the conversations with prospects.

• To analyze the prospect requests, related to product customization, evaluating if they are possible or not and collaborating in finding and building the proper solution to the requirement posted.

• To investigate and foresee the new technological trends in the Spain market and the new offerings of Axway

• To analyze competitors to learn their weaknesses and focus there when competing against them.

We are searching for an at least 3 years experienced presales consultant, used to run technical software presales cycles in front of the customers and:

  • Good presence

  • Fluent in English

  • With flexibility to travel for job tasks

  • Communicative, clear minded and effective

  • Able to build his own modern digital presentations

  • Ready to assume and own the responsibility of doing the required POCs and RFP answers

  • Business oriented and used to work by results, assuming the committed delivery dates and the KPIs agreed with the customer

The job will be based in Madrid and will cover the presales activity in all Spain and Portugal territory.

Technical skills:

  • University title: IT or Telecommunications Engineer

  • Expert on implementing middleware software solutions on Linux and Windows

  • Skilled in middleware software products such as ESB and API Gateway

  • Skilled in security technologies:

    - Security: Antimalware, Ciphering, Authentication, Authorization, Data Leak Prevention (DLP), certificates, LDAPs, … - Single Sign On (SSO)
  • Tokens (OAuth, SAML, JWT)

  • Knowledge in middleware integration solutions as:

  • B2B (mapping, application integration, etc.)

  • MFT (Communication protocols as SFTP. https, SMTP, etc.)

Also valuable:

  • Experience in implementation and parameterization of technical software solutions

  • Multidisciplinar: Capable to interact with different profiles of persons at the customer (technical IT, Business customers, IT managers, Business managers, etc.)
