As Product Manager reporting to our Manager Iberia BD PAS, you'll operate across our Preanalytical Solutions portfolio to support the implementation of our Spanish and Portuguese marketing strategy. It's a wide-ranging role involving:
o Creates and manages marketing plans to ensure the achievement of financial/budget expectations and product line strategies, including market sensing, market development and marketing mix. Develops product positioning and messaging.
o Demand generation: Manages drivers of demand for assigned product line(s) such as pricing strategy, channel strategy, promotions and product mix.
o Sales enablement: Communicates value proposition of the products to sales team and develops sales tools and marketing collaterals (catalogues, brochures, etc) that support selling process.
o Market intelligence: Develops expertise on customer buying criteria; market segmentation, competition to create strategies to win in the market.
o Establishes and maintains a strong competitive position through strategic and tactical identification of marketing opportunities.
o Manages demand forecasting, marketing planning and sales promotional activities. Works closely with planning to manage back orders and product allocation.
o Assists with the development and implementation of launch plans including pricing, promotion, and sales training.
o Manages post market surveillance activities for significant product or laboratory issues potential impacting patient care in Iberia. This includes coordinating investigations with the Plymouth plant & coordinating clinical investigations with the European Clinical Operations.
o Coordinates & supports implementation of BD Laboratory Consulting Services (LCS) in Iberia. Provides regional management to ensure BD LCS is effectively scheduled and coordinated.
o Support customer visits.
Educated to a degree in a related bio-science discipline (e.g. Pharmacy). MBA or Masters in Marketing will be a plus, you'll need a proven experience as a Marketer and any other experience of working in a clinical laboratory environment track record in which you've developed an ability to work autonomously and the ability to independently generating, prioritising and completing work. A strong dynamism, able to provide with clear and precise communication. You're passionate about the scientific community and you want to contribute to the on-going commercial success of a progressive, future-orientated business and about improving health outcomes. In addition to well-developed interpersonal & presentation skills, you'll also need:
• Be fluent in English. Any other language will be a plus
• Ability to travel extensively in Spain and Portugal >50% of the time
